Home Slice Carnival O’ Pizza

Print

Home Slice’s Carnival O’ Pizza is an annual extravaganza, celebrating its fifth year in 2010. A myriad of events happen at the carnival: games for kids, games for adults (beer), live music, a pizza eating contest, and a hands-on-an-eggplant sub competition, where the winner receives a year of free pizza. This competition can last for days.

Collateral supporting the event—including a poster and multiple shirts— focused on a number of traditional carnival elements, with a nod to the pizza gods in each.

Event photos to come.

Love Your Dog

Print

Printervention is a traveling exhibition and poster campaign inspired by WPA posters of the past. Artists around the country were asked to create works that raise awareness of social and political issues. Taking care of your pet(s) is a task that, sadly, many people need to be reminded to do.

Good Magazine — Neighborhoods Issue

Print

GOOD Magazine teamed up with Society 6 to find four different creatives to produce four covers for The Neighborhoods Issue. Public School was responsible for one of these covers, each representing our various regions of the country.

We created an installation of objects both real and created from paper, objects familiar to neighborhoods everywhere, and those found specifically in our area. Many objects in the installation reference a specific place that is instrumental in our daily lives. These items were reduced in specificity to allow our cover to be more relatable.

Incredibly simple, very literal poster for the band Shapes Have Fangs. The goal was to create a poster that could function as both art print and poster for any date.
